Horizontal single stage centrifugal pumps with overhung impeller and axial suction, constructed using the "Back pull-out system" and available with six different sizes of support.

Materials

The main elements of the pump bodies, impellers and covers can be made of various materials to better resist against the most severe operating conditions:

• AISI 304 stainless steel
• AISI 316 L stainless steel
• Cast iron
• On request it is possible to supply products made of special nickel based alloys to resist against the chemically more aggressive components such as sulphuric acid or hydrochloric acid

Shaft seal

Depending on the liquids conveyed, various types of mechanical seal can be installed on all sizes of support bracket: simple, balanced, double, in tandem, cartridge, with quench, etc., with standard circulation and flushing in accordance with the API Standard 610 norms.

Special productions

On request the pumps can be supplied:

• With cooled or heated sealing chamber
• In vertical submerged version

New base frames

Robuschi has set up an innovative base for all of the pumps of the 1st and 2nd bracket of the RN, RKN and E series.

This makes it much easier to perform the coupling operations between the pump and the electric motor and the electro-pump package installation operations.

• Ease of transmission joints alignment also when the electro-pump package has already been installed on the plant.
• Ease of motor replacement, also if the replacement motor is larger or smaller.
• Limited distortion of the base during the installation of the electro-pump package.
