History
1941
- The company: Robuschi starts life as a mechanical
workshop.
- The products: Repairing of centrifugal pumps,
mainly those used in agriculture.
1941 - 1961
- The company: Robuschi grows and expands in
an area in Viale Piacenza in Parma. The factory acquires its own
foundry.
- The products: It is immediately clear that
there is a particular interest for technological development,
which leads to the production of centrifugal pumps
and accessories for agriculture.
1961
- The company: The growth of Robuschi and the
new need for specific infrastructures leads to the transfer of
the company to Via Nino Bixio in Parma.
1961 - 1981
- The company: Robuschi continues its design,
production and financial growth, creating a national and international
reputation
- The products: The 1960s sees the start of production
of centrifugal pumps for industry and chemicals
with the famous R series pumps; at the end of the 1970s the company
starts the production of channel pumps for dirty water.
The 1960s also sees the first double-stage vacuum pumps,
RPA and RPB, to which the new models RVA and RVM are added in
the mid 1970s.
Production of the positive displacement lobes blowers
of the RVT family also starts in this period.
1981
- The company: Further growth and the need to
operate in increasingly modern structures leads the company to
transfer to the new, and current, premises in Via San
Leonardo.
1981 - 2000
- The company: Today the headquarters of the
company covers an overall area of more than 90,000 square
meters, 30,000 of which are covered. In addition to this,
there is a new factory covering 6,400 square metres.
250 people work at the headquarters, a significant proportion
being involved in the design and development of new products.
- The products: At the beginning of the 1980s
the centrifugal pumps were transformed into the
RN series. In the mid 1980s the first pumps
for paper pulp (the RACN series) were produced. The beginning
of the new millennium saw the development of the new RNS
series centrifugal pumps.
At the beginning of the 1990s the vacuum pumps
became RMV; single stage with valve. In more recent years the
production of the new RVS began, with laser cutting
of components.
The blowers were transformed into the RB models
(at the start of the 1980s) and then into the RB-LP models (three
lobes, at the start of the 1990s). Halfway through the 1990s production
of the Robox packages was started.
In the last two years the RBS range and the second
generation of the Robox packages have
started production.
