Rotary Lobe Blowers: Technical Data Spec Sheet

Performance Overview

All data is based on atmospheric air at:

  • Pressure: 1,013 mbar
  • Temperature: 20°C
  • Humidity: 50%
  • Density: 1.2 kg/m³

For non-standard gases or operating conditions, contact Robuschi.

Key Parameters

  • Q1 (m³/min): Flow rate
  • DT (°C): Temperature rise
  • Nsof (kW): Absorbed power
  • Nmot (kW): Recommended motor power
  • Lp(A) sc: Sound pressure level at 1m without enclosure
  • Lp(A) cc: Sound pressure level at 1m with enclosure

Material Standards

All components meet international standards:

  • Rotors & Shafts: EN 1563 GJS 400-15, DIN 1696 0.7040, ASTM A536 GR 60-40-18
  • Casing & Covers: EN 1561 G250, DIN 1691 0.6020, ASTM A48 GR 30
  • Gears: EN 10084 18NiCrMo5, DIN 17212 1.6523, ASTM A534 Cl 4720

Custom material configurations are available on request.

Acoustic Performance

Sound pressure levels are measured per ISO 3746:

  • Without enclosure (Lp(A) sc): 74–113 dB(A)
  • With enclosure (Lp(A) cc): <70–85 dB(A)

Noise enclosures reduce sound levels by 10–25 dB(A), depending on model and operating conditions.

Installation & Dimensions

  • Max discharge temperature: 150°C (160°C for R-F configurations)
  • Minimum RPM: Model-specific; resonance risks at low speeds
  • Flange drilling: UNI PN10 or ANSI 125 FF
  • Pressure gauge connection: G3/8”
  • Flow direction: Vertical, top to bottom

Refer to pages 29–34 of the spec sheet for full layout drawings and weights.

FAQs

Nsof is the actual absorbed power. Nmot is the recommended motor power to safely handle that load.
