The new Robox blower unit design allows you to fit either a lobe or a screw airend into our engineered Robox enclosure. To accommodate this innovation, our teams performed a complete package redesign. You can call it thinking outside the box to create our best Robox yet.

The Robox Screw is able to reach up to 1,000 mbar(g) with a maximum capacity of 10,100 m³/h.

Unique Design, Best-in-class Footprint 

Thanks to its exclusive features, the new Robox Screw blower unit has compact dimensions with the possibility of side-by-side installation. It is easy to be installed with no requirements for ducting. The Robox Screw blower’s compact dimensions will optimise your floor space usage. The new Robox Screw blower unit size 3.5 requires on average 11% less space to deliver 22% more air flow.

Low Noise

Low noise emissions are ensured by our new discharge and suction silencer design. In addition, canopy enhancements provide noise reduction thanks to special sound proofing material and upgraded panel thickness. In addition, the enclosure air inlet and outlet ducts are muzzled with a lined single-chamber plenum and lined bends.

Easy Installation

Save time and money thanks to the easy and flexible installation of the new Robox Screw blower unit. Handle the Robox with ease utilizing the rigid base which has dedicated channels for forklifts. Place it on any even surface, with no need for special foundations. Thanks to its compact design, the Robox can be quickly and easily integrated into your existing system.

Accessible Service and Maintenance

The design of this new Robox Screw blower unit design ensures that the service points are easily accessible.To help you see inside, the enclosure side doors are hinged and removable.

CDL- RSW – Premium Oil-free Airends

The new Robox Screw blower unit accommodates the state-of-the art CDL airend. The patented screw blower has 3x5 profile rotors designed with wide-diameter shafts to reduce the deformation caused by internal and external loads. This ensures the blower can work efficiently in even the harshest conditions.

The CDL airend is equipped with seals that use a permanent non-wearing design to extend longevity, and reduce maintenance costs. It also uses high precision and low friction bearings to provide absolute strength and stability on multiple planes to handle extreme applications.

The RSW airend is equipped with a wide-diameter shaft rotor design to reduce the deformation caused by internal and external loads. This ensures that the screw blower unit can work efficiently in even the harshest conditions. The bearings have an increased lifespan thanks to the reduced number of revolutions they have to make. The seals on the conveyed gas and lubricating oil are also “wear-free”. The RSW airend is available for the current sizes 2,3 and 5.

Robox Screw 2.0 – New Frame & New RSWX 65 Airend

The Robox Screw 2.0 features a new frame design combined with the new RSWX 65 airend, delivering higher efficiency, improved reliability, and greater operational flexibility. The upgraded frame enhances cooling, accessibility, and overall robustness, while the optimized airend geometry and thermal management increase air flow and reduce energy consumption—helping lower the Total Cost of Ownership.

Designed for pressures up to 1 bar, the new RSWX 65 airend delivers air flows of up to 1,850 m³/h, providing approximately 10% more air than the previous generation, with average energy savings of up to 13%. Reduced discharge temperatures contribute to longer maintenance intervals and make the Robox Screw 2.0 ideal for demanding and variable applications, such as wastewater treatment.

New Compact Suction Silencer

A newly designed Silencer is equipped with a dedicated filter cartridge for improved reliability and quicker maintenance. This minimises pressure drops. Noise reduction is provided by a new absorptive and reactive internal resonance chamber design.

Robust Discharge Silencer

A Reactive discharge silencer with increased thickness and spark arrester. This design prevents contamination of conveyed gas with sparks generated from the blower. Costly spark traps are no longer necessary.

Check Valve

Proven and robust VRC check valve specifically designed by Robuschi is now positioned within the device to ensure a quick and easy inspection, and replacement.

Lubrication Systems

This system provides lubrication alternatives for various operating environments. It is a dual splash lubrication system that is simple, reliable and compact. It also provides minimal maintenance without the need for an external oil circuit. A forced lubrication system can also be ordered as an option.

State-Of-The Art Noise Enclosure

The new powder coated enclosure ensures long lasting protection from corrosion, chemicals and the environment. In addition, the noise enclosure’s structure is equipped with tight-fitting frames for the doors and roof support. All the panels/doors are independent of each other and easily removable for inspection.

The new hood design inhibits noise emissions thanks to the enclosure’s air inlet and outlet ducts which are muzzled with a lined single-chamber plenum and lined bends. The closed baseplate is suitable for any type of floor guaranteeing proper noise reduction.

In addition the enclosure provides:

  • Side-by-side installation
  • Baseplate equipped with dedicated holes for easy access by forklift
  • Dedicated access for relief valve inspection and setting to reduce maintenance time
  • Access for routine maintenance operations from the front/rear/left/right side of the hood
  • Easy service with rear panel opening without the need to disconnect the process pipe
  • Electrical cable installation possible both from the top and bottom
 

The user-friendly Robox Connect 2.0 touch screen features an intuitive menu, offering a real-time view of the operation of the Robox Lobe and Screw units. This interface enables continuous monitoring of your equipment, facilitating early detection of issues and malfunctions to safeguard your investment. Additionally, the controller efficiently manages a range of operating functions accessible both from the built-in touch screen and remotely.

The embedded communication protocols are Modbus RTU, TCP.
